employ a set of technologies to ensure maximum security
for our clients.
Communication
between you and GRANDPRIX6 is encrypted using the
SSL mechanism built into your browser. All of your personal
information, including credit card number, is encrypted
so that it cannot be read as the information travels over
the Internet. This ensures that even if someone were able
to monitor the traffic between you and our server, they
would not be able to read it. Encryption is used on all
pages within our payment system.

GRANDPRIX6 Customer
Our customers log on. Data is encrypted (transaction data)
and then sent over the Internet. You can think of encryption
as a way to turn text into code, making it unreadable and
meaningless.

Telephone Switch
At this stage data is already encrypted.

Internet Encrypted data travels over the Internet
Even if someone were able to monitor the traffic between
you and our server, they would not be able to read it. Encryption
is used on all pages within our payment system.

Firewall Computer
This computer sits between the GRANDPRIX6 Web server
and the Internet, providing additional security against
non-authorised access.
5.
GRANDPRIX6 Web Server
All your details are stored in the GRANDPRIX6
Web Server.
When data gets here the server decrypts the information
(it turns meaningless data (code) into readable data (information)).

Once
we receive your Card details we carry out an on-line check
of your Card with our bankers. This ensures the number you
entered actually corresponds to a real credit card number
and is not one that has been made up. The system also checks
various "Hot Card lists" to ensure that no fraudulent use
is being made of a Card. This on-line verification of your
details is carried out over a secure line to the bank. Card
data is, at no time, sent over the Internet during the validation
process.
